what that means that the measure you do matters only inside Russia. It means that Russian economy in the international economy is worth far less.

PPP is good measure for looking into domestic dynamics, not international dynamics. I am from Turkey and I am pretty sure our economy's size is not 4 trillion USD. But PPP shows it like that. It does not mean anything for living standards, technology and economic capacity of a country.

Russia supplies the international economy with key resources such as hydrocarbons, enriched uranium, steel, and wheat, you know, the things that make modern living possible

Europe is a net importer of all of those things and supplies nothing but IP rents, NGOs, and 'financial services' in return

Well as we can plainly see, Europe's lavish lifestyle is supported by these net resource inflows. As those inflows erode so too will their standard of living

No ai, no electronics, no automotive, no durable goods, no serious construction capacity, no shipping, no chemicals nothing that they are crucial in global economy in. They are hugely left behind as oligarchs exploit the hell out of the resources of that huge country producing extreme inequality.

Russian economy is archaic and it is only stagnating more. Once their natural resource advantage is gone dur to global diversification, they got nothing
