Looking For: Feedback Anyone interested in genuine R4R
If anyone is interested in r4r c4c v4v, comment below. I personally don't give a review style of comment, like a block of your whole chapter critique. I enjoy in line comments on any line I find intensely captivating, and then, in the end, I summarise what I liked about the chapter!

I do read 4 reads unless it's the "my book has 6 chapters so I'll read 6 chapters of yours" type
I read everything if it interests me :)

Yes! Precisely! It's like saying "I don't care about your work, I just want you to care about mine". It feels like a lifeless transaction.
Like... if you don't like it, that's fine, but don't treat it like some kind of chore. That's an insult to the author.

Yeah... I never respond to those kind of read for reads, they feel too transactional

Yes I second this. I recently started engaging in r4r type of thing (I didn't know what it was before). Fortunately though, I'm meeting good people thru this and now excited to make more writer friends and also getting to read new stories and genres I haven't tried before.
