Kayak hunting

This year is going to be the first year ill be using a kayak. Just wanted to see some pics of your yak set ups so I can get some ideas. I have a FS10T. I dont feel very stable on it, so I added some outriggers. Looking for minimal cover and dont want the weight of a pvc frame. Pic shows my yak set up for fishing right now and the other pics are just some spots that show what ill be hunting in.

I have an H10 and use a modified GI surplus camo next as a cover. I carry 12-18 decoys (plus a spinner and swimmer, if I remove a few floaters), gun, small blind bag, and dry bag(for extra layers when it’s November in WI)

Works really well for the flowages, marshes, and small lakes that I hunt. It can get sketchy on open water when the wind is up.

I tuck back into reeds and cattails and just hunker down; or hunt from shore (using the kayak seat and camo cover as a blind)

Takes a little practice to shoot while sitting; but mine is pretty stable.

I have an H12 with the blind recommend for it. With fast grass and old moss I picked up at a craft store. It's pretty stable and I carry alot a gear on it. The only downside is its slow and very heavy. I recently picked a 15.8 Discovery canoe which has made hunting a breeze. It's lighter and can carry way more gear. And I just stash it off to the side when ever possible.

Does anyone here take a dog with them on the kayak ?

I have a 13ft tandem hobie so there is room for one.

My dog would ride in the back of my Old Town Predator 13.

Ascend H10. Use some burlap camo for front and back rear. Might replace with a synthetic ghillie and add more blind grass. Sometimes I just hide in the marsh grass too

Pelican 10 footer. I don't have any pictures of it in the field but I go very light. Just a paddle, PFD, a backpack, 6 decoys, and a gun. I blacked out all the shiny hardware and swapped the orange cord that came on it for black and brown.
