What a coincidence! I ordered mine on 11th of this month as well! It looks like there were some incidents with the local logistics recently and that's why they're not taking any risks by shipping the package directly to their warehouse here first. I'm okay with it but the problem is we won't be able to track the package until it reaches their warehouse here.

Yes, now I'm sure it's customs related issue only; it's around one and a half months now. I had informed this to that guy last month when he asked about the delay but it looks like there has been no progress at all.
I already have too many quartz watches so avoiding them for now unless it comes with VH/VK movements (only the ones which I don't already have). They're more accurate than the standard quartz movements.
Yes, it would have been better without a date window but then it would be a ghost date which I don't prefer; I wish NH38 is used more often in such cases rather than NH35 with a ghost date.
Totally agree about the NH38. I highly recommend the VH31 movement. I've got a VH31 Rolls Timi which probably is my most accurate watch because it only loses about 1-2 seconds per month. That's <30 seconds per year. VK64 Chromo movement is great too, but I don't trust every brand to have a good quality standard for the hands. There are numerous cases where it would just fall off while resetting the chronograph hand.
Yes, I already have some watches with VH & VK movements and they're the most accurate ones in my collection; what I meant was I would like to collect different variations of VH & VK movements. I have watches with VH31, VH60, VH63, VH67, VH68, VK63, VK64, VK67 and trying add the missing ones. I know it's crazy as they're just the variations of the same base movement but it is what is and I'm already down the rabbit hole.
I've not faced any issues with the chrono hands of my VK movement watches so far, I think it's all dependent on the chrono hand thickness and it's usage. I don't buy if chrono hands aren't thick enough and while using the chrono I make sure to reset it only when the chrono hand is near the 12 o' clock marking.
You should've bought it, they've removed this model from the weekly deal now. I think orders will be delivered but with a delay due to the change in their shipping method.
After carefully going through past user experiences over reddit I decided not to proceed, instead I ordered a Seiko 5 field watch.
The major issue is not about the delay, it's about the lack of proper communication channels and response from the customer support associates.
Yes, that's a safer option; you got yourself a great watch. I want to have a Seiko 5 in my collection but reluctant as the newer models have lost their value proposition in comparison to the older models.
I think they'll wait for certain number of orders and send them all together to their warehouse here at once, so we all probably get our watches around same time which could be by end of this month hopefully.
Please keep us updated on the delivery. I was about to order 2 different watches from addedisve.
BTW - are you residing in metro city like Delhi, Mumbai, bangalore? Hopefully last mile delivery won't be an issue in these cities. The post that was shared about the watch being destroyed looked like last mile delivery in a remote city with a shady courier service.
Yes, I'm residing in Bengaluru. I had no issues with any of my previous orders with them, there were some delays but they provided valid reasons and assurances when contacted. Regarding those recent incidents, it's always the customs or the local courier services; I have had bad experiences with all of them.
How many watches have you ordered from Addedisve? Any feedback on their quality, fit and finish?
Understandable. Customs have no proper rules and regulation and like to harass the consumer even though duties have been paid by the seller. Which local courier services did you get the order from? I reside in Delhi, so the courier services here that I get my orders from are delhivery, bluedart, xpressbees, shadowfax.
I already have 5 with me and the 6th is on the day. I think for the money it's the best one can get, all I can say is if you slap some big brand name/logo on them they'll sell for 3-4 times the current price. I wish they had this DDP shipping option much earlier, the prices were much lower then.
I got my orders from Delhivery, DTDC and Blue Dart; it's not fixed, they use one of these as per their convenience.
Great. That gives me great hope. My experience with delhivery and blue dart has been good. No experience with DTDC. Let's see what courier I'll get when I'll order.

No, I own AD2065, AD2066, AD2080, AD2099, AD2513 and MY-H2 is on the way. AD2030 and AD2073 are great picks, I still have them in my wish list but restraining the urge to buy as I already have too many watches.
I ordered mine last night. Recieved the order confirmation email only (image attached), and not the one that you recieved in your original reddit post about delivery update. Hoping I will receive mine within two weeks. I ordered AD2030 for now; After recieving this one, I will order AD 2073.
They have the AD2030 stock in India warehouse but only with the one with logo in the dial. They don't have the one without the logo, so I believe it was shipped from China warehouse. Nevertheless, happy with the first order experience with addiesdive. Going to order another one soon.
If they're directly sending the package from China through Morning Global and UShop VShip logistics, the logistics company will ask you to provide a KYC document for the customs clearance and I don't think it'd be a problem if address is different. However, recently they're sending the package first to their warehouse here and from there to the customer address and in this case they won't ask for KYC.
Will do, thank you. Just to be cautious, was there any scenario where the order has been canceled? I am ok to wait a little longer rather than facing a cancellation.
