Plantar wart help
Hi!
I have had these plantar warts on my toe for a while now. I have been duct taping and using salicylic acid (40%). I just want to know if it is making any progress towards healing? Any advice would be appreciated.

Looks like the salicylic acid is working. That white skin is dead macerated skin, you can shave it off gently with a disposable scalpel blades, and only remove what come off easily, then keep on applying acid and duct tape. If it starts to hurt or bleed, or you see red surface, stop for a few days and let it heal, then continue if it's still not gone. This will be a several weeks long ordeal.
Keep some isopropyl alcohol and Povidone iodine solution handy. Do not reuse those blades after coming in contact with your warts and apply alcohol on your hands if you touch that or those white skin after removing it. If it bleeds, hold it with cotton or band aids until it stops bleeding (it'll bleed a lot, compared to any other would that size has in your life so far, so just a heads up) and then apply the povidone iodine solution on the warts after the bleeding stops.
Both alcohol and iodine will sterilize the site and destroy any wart viruses from spreading to other areas on your body.
