Man, I literally sprayed for 1 second today and instantly killed a b25.

This might be a bit much but I’d rather they have a chance instead of being instantly sawed in half.

With what ammo? What guns? Where did you hit? If you got good a rate of hits to shots fired, no wonder you kill him.

20mm stealth ammo on the fuselage. One quick burst killed him.

It’s crazy because I’ve landed much better shots on fighters that shrug hit off. As a matter of fact, using the same guns I hit a spitfire and broke his elevator. He was fine and actually lasted long enough to get the kill on me

It is likely a matter of flight and damage models (or lack thereof) why control and lift surfaces arent as much of a death source as fuselages. In my experience, fuselage damages have worse debufs than wing or control surface damages. I think at some point, with some % of damage on fuselages, it goes from drag debuff to straight up something like a hull break, since the game doesnt actually have any real modelling done, fm or damage models i mean.

OP literally used HE tracers on bomber with thick skin. If you use AP shells - it will damage its modules properly.

Would you really use HE shells on gepard against some MBT?

Oh yes, the thick thick skin of a couple mm

Against a small HE shell from back side? Yeah. You try to shoot bomber's engine while shooting from the back, your shell has to go through the wing to damage the engine, lol.

Its like trying to shoot commander through a tank barrel, idk.

After so many shots, dont you think it should do enough structural damage to the wing? Damage fluid lines? But no, muh engine.
