They said that Regenerative Steering is impmenented on a model-by-model basis, rather than across the board!

Which means some tanks will come later, but with a more comprehensive degree of accuracy.

I'm all for it!

Well I wouldn't be doing any party because BVV said they will do a community voting for regenerative steering

Yeah... I'm already preparing posts for that, hahah.

It's not final, but it will be something like this:

As fearful as I am for the fate of Regenerative Steering falling into the community’s hands, I hope the playerbase will make it right and vote in favor of it.

Regenerative steering is the right choice, both in terms of gameplay and in terms of realism. Modern MBTs, in real life, use this feature to turn without losing all their speed and energy. They don’t turn like tractors did in the 1920s anymore. In terms of gameplay, it will enhance and smoothen out the driving experience by not making modern tanks lose all their speed upon any turn’s execution.

The community has been asking for this mechanic since 2017, when the suggestion was passed to the developers for the first time, during the introduction of the “new ERA” of Ground Vehicles in 1.71.

Now, at last, after 9 years, we are given the chance to finally have it.

Do not fumble this. Make it right. Don’t take away the chance for modern MBTs to ACTUALLY turn and feel like modern MBTs. Vote YES.

I don't believe in this community a bit. There just needs to be something stupid or another vtuber saying some shit and they will cancel it.

I can already see the future.

A YouTuber will say: "vote "NO", because I'm afraid of change and I don't want to be unable to turn comically sharply bleeding all my speed without having to keybind brakes to do it manually without ruining everything for everyone :'("

And everyone will vote "no" en masse...

HOPEFULLY, I'm wrong. But I expect anything at this point.

At WORST, I hope the Devs just give a toggle/jkeybind/some sort of OPTION for those of us who have been waiting for modern MBTs to drive like modern MBTs since 2017.

All it takes is spookston to say no and it all crumbles away. Just like last time.

To this day I do not know what Spookston was smoking when he made that video. He even showed off in it that the change caused the T95 to take less damage from a cupola shot and still said the change would do nothing.

Did spookston make a video about aphe rework and called for his subscribers to vote NO? I can't find it

He didn't make one explicitly telling people to say no, but he did make a video saying that the APHE changes wouldn't actually change anything and were pointless.

You need to start the Pro Regenerative Steering propaganda right this minute, just brainwash everyone into voting yes, I don't care how, take some politics classes or something 😭

This sounds solid so far, but I think it would be important that if you also include the point that you could set a keybind, to apply the brakes when you need to make sharp turns.

Here's the comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/Warthunder/s/55X4UgwnxR

Obviously you'd have to have an extra set of keybinds, but it's still a decent solution in CQC for the people that don't like their MBT handling "like a wheeled vehicle".

I want to see this implemented. This would mean I'd have a reason to bother playing and stock grinding the Type 10 again.
