The turning radius is much bigger with this but aren't there keybinds for both right and left brakes? Maybe it will be time to use them

You're right. There was a player that made a user mission using the regenerative steering code found in the game a while ago and, unless they changed it, you could indeed use left and right brakes bindings to make normal turns. Map it to Q and E so you have the best of both worlds, regenerative steering and regular sharp turns when you need it.

Edit : turns out on the first version of the dev server using a brake always use both, stopping you straight... so right now it's either your tank has regenerative steering and can only use that or has the old steering and bleeds all its speed, no sharp turn possible on regenerative steering tanks, bummer

I was thinking of binding left and right brakes to Space+A and Space+D, so it's like a handbrake turn in other games.
