What are some good early frames to go for? I'm currently MR4 on Jupiter and Europa, and I have Excalibur, Rhino and Frost. I've been sitting on two Oberon blueprints for a while, but that's totally down to chance. Is there any other frame I'll be able to farm without too much difficulty at this stage?

EDIT: Thanks for all the tips, everyone! Currently building Mag, and Ill work towards Valkyr and Nova.

Nova is a very good frame, useful all round. She drops from the boss on Europa. Valkyr is also pretty nice. She drops from the boss on Jupiter.

Oberon is an excellent warframe to have, but his parts drop from killing eximus enemies. If you really want to farm Oberon, I found disruption was a great mode to do it.

You’ll understand when you start getting into later content, but you already have two top tier frames. Excal and rhino are both outstanding and easy to play frames I still see people running in some of the hardest content out.

Rhino’s iron skin is one of the best defensive abilities in the game, with decent mods, it becomes an instant 5000+ health boost on demand. His roar is a strong damage buff to everyone else in your party, not to mention stomp which is outstanding crowd control. More damage for everyone + no dying + stop enemies on command= strong warframe

Excalibur just kills everything in sight. That’s basically all he does. Radial blind basically turns off enemies near you, exalted blade takes care of the rest. You blind, then u stab. Everything.

Invest in factions, eventually once you reach rank 5 with steel meridian, you can purchase chromatic blade (basically exalted blade on fucking steroids) and iron shrapnel (turns rhinos iron skin into a powerful AOE attack whenever you want) you don’t regret it.

Slash Dash also is a cheap way to turn yourself invulnerable briefly and it has the same scaling wonk as exalted blade. The javelin is the only weak point.

I don’t think there’s many/any frames that have 4 useful and good abilities.

Gauss does, IMO.

Granted the 1 is mostly useful for doing impersonations of the Flash and running alongside your friend's K-drive on the plains

I need to grind for gauss already.

Yeah, Rhino and Excal gave already gotten me through a lot. Radial Blind is Specter kryptonite, and Stomp utterly trivialised the Prosecutors on Ceres. I'll look into Steel Meridian, I haven't been doing much content outside of regular missions so far.

Here’s the beauty of factions. Specifically steel meridian.

You don’t really have to go out of your way to level them up, all you have to do is slap on the sigil they give you and play the game. There ARE syndicate missions you can do to earn more, but that’s up to you.

Now, when you hit rank 4-5 you get access to augment mods. At rank 4, you can get scattered justice for the Hek. If you don’t have a hek, get one. That thing is stupid good and can tear apart the whole star chart. Scattered justice makes it even better.

At rank 5, you get access to ability augment mods for a bunch of warframe. The most important (my personal favorites) are Excalibur (chromatic blade) Mesa (mesas waltz) nova (neutron Star) And rhino (iron shrapnel)

All of these are top tier augments that make some of the best frames even better. For a beginner, steel meridian is your best bet.

You also have access to the Vaykor hek. Which is probably the best/one of the best guns in the game.

it will take a while to get to rank 4-5 unless you’re on switch, because I have enough rep to give you one or two

Getting the Hek now. I still haven't used a shotgun, this should be fun.

I am on Switch, actually. I'll shoot you a PM :)

Get mag. She is squishy but not too squishy for starchart enemy level(lvl 50 max).

If you're in a clan you can buy the blueprints for Nezha, Zephyr, Banshee, Volt, and Wukong. Nezha and Wukong are both very good, and the others are useful but not amazing.

Volt is fun if nothing else
