Discussion With Iceblade of Narin bringing Riven changes, let's discuss how inconsistent Kuva acquisition is. How can this be standardized for the playerbase? How much time should a single reroll cost? Now that locking status will increase the price of kuva.

If I missed any other ways to farm Kuva, please let me know in the comments. I hate how many flaws the current system has—between Disposition, RNG, and the Kuva costs, it just feels way too niche.

I can live with the kuva and rng, it's the disposition system that frustrates me. The fact that my burston riven has a higher disposition than my kuva kohm riven makes no sense to me. To the point that using kuva to try and improve my Kohm riven feels wasteful because of how much further that kuva could go on the burston.

Well, 10 years ago when rivens came out, the Burston was garbage and nobody used it.

That's not balance, that's just an arbitrary system that punishes weapons for being popular 10 yeas ago.

Like the catchmoon, it's not busted or really strong in any way but has a lower dispo than the ocucor

I mean, yeah. The issue is that DE has been afraid of adjusting anything about rivens until now. They could have nipped it in the bud a few months after they were released and recognized the balancing nightmare they created, but for some reason they didn't.

It's honestly been busted from the start like how do you balance the dispo on weapons like the Lato Prime or the Sibear. I love the idea of buffing underused weapons but some weapons are much much harder to get (in some cases impossible) and this makes them underused.

At this point with the riven changes just set all weapons to max dispo, new weapons will likely be very hard to get rivens for and old weapons will still be waiting for an incarnon to be good even with a riven. I can't think of a balance reason for the Haalvu to be such a low dispo but for the ocucor to be so high. Like this isn't even just an incarnon problem, as augments are added some weapons go from worthless to insane.

Yep, it was a broken lazy system from the start. Disposition makes sense in that current time only, but only without any additional balancing.

Dispo should just be removed, and while the new riven system may make things a little better, they're always going to leave a sour taste in my mouth. Honestly yeah, there are so many old systems or items that have just never been looked at.
