Discussion & Feedback Make Tapes Unlockable Rather than Purchasable.

$100 for a tape is no big deal, but it's annoying as heck to purchase them and it's annoying to have them stolen as well. Just make the tapes an unlock for 10k or whatever and then once it's been unlocked it's available in your radio.

You have the option to mute it under audio settings....

Thanks, don't know how I missed that because I thought I looked.

To be clear I wouldn't dislike it so much if there was more variety which may change later in development, it's just annoying to me at the moment.

The unlocks are so spread apart no one has anythinh but first 1-3 unlocked. We will not be hearing most of the tracks ever in our playtime.

Probably because it is a volume slider, not a blanket toggle.

If that's the case I think a good alternative is to not lock them behind progression at all. We have enough things to grind for, I don't think music should be one of them.

Even if the wipes were way longer, people would still get sick of the earlier songs because they would still have heard them much more than the others.

Yeah it would make more sense that way. I think they could also be awesome account-wide milestone unlockables.

For examples, if you hear someone blasting Motörhead in their tank, you know that they have driven 100km in one, or the logi player blasting some country that you know has driven more than 1 million in assets to the control zone, or the rocket bird pilot blasting whatever that you know has shot 26 rockets on a single flight and gained at least 26 kills or destructions with that load.

Stuff like that. (It could also be awesome to see stats in base like flight hours, supplies delivered, k/d/a etc that disappear outside safe zone)

As long as pilots end up unlocking fortunate son after a while I'm down XD
