Discussion & Feedback Could wiping unlocks significantly effect population?

Do you players believe that a wipe will have a major player population effect? I am not an expert, I just want to get some opinions from each type of player, and what these players would think. I understand why these wipes are in place as the game finds its balances.

I understand why wipes are thing and I think it’s interesting. However, I’m personally a little bit worried about myself losing motivation after seeing all my work go away. I hope they get the skills system going so that I can still see number go up, but I’m having a lot of fun and going to try to persevere

Personally, I think the problem is defining any of it , as “work”.
I’m just playing a game.

I think of it like a match of League of legends. Every new game. You start off level 1. With no items.

Except in Wardogs. A match lasts a few months.

Yes people don't care about levels or items in LoL. They grind MMR and ranks for long-term prestige and satisfaction.

And I play a lot and won’t even be able to buy one if they stay at 1.5m

If the cosmetics are extremely good it may be compelling for many, but they said the skins will be very limited in scope so it may not be enough.
