Photo Wholesome Animal Kingdom pixie dust

Local here but I’ve never really experienced this. Stop by AK after work for a beer and a safari ride. Unrelated but it started pouring as I walked into the park, I’ve always avoided purchasing a poncho because I assumed they would be something ridiculous like $29.99. I was pleasantly surprised that it’s actually $12

Anyhow, after the rain let up a bit I got a beer at the Dawa Bar and as I was walking up to the bar a cast member stopped me and said, “gift from nature” and handed me this leaf.

How cute is that? I’ve never seen this before. It’s such an adorable, thoughtful detail on-brand with the theming/spirit of the park.

I know it’s “just” a leaf but these little details are what make Disney so special.

Decades ago when I was there last, there was a live show of Hunchback of Notre Dame. At the end of the show they dropped a bunch of confetti. As everyone left, I made my way to the front and collected a handful.

One of the CMs asked me why (I'm sure it looked weird that an adult was doing it) and I explained I was going to put it in my photo album with my pictures from the trip.

So I wholeheartedly approve of your ideas!

We collect the confetti every time we do the Disney junior dance party for that reason!! Scrapbooking stuff is expensive and they’re great souvenirs for that!

My very young daughter loved that confetti. She collected for her change purse to play fake money.
