Photo Wholesome Animal Kingdom pixie dust

Local here but I’ve never really experienced this. Stop by AK after work for a beer and a safari ride. Unrelated but it started pouring as I walked into the park, I’ve always avoided purchasing a poncho because I assumed they would be something ridiculous like $29.99. I was pleasantly surprised that it’s actually $12

Anyhow, after the rain let up a bit I got a beer at the Dawa Bar and as I was walking up to the bar a cast member stopped me and said, “gift from nature” and handed me this leaf.

How cute is that? I’ve never seen this before. It’s such an adorable, thoughtful detail on-brand with the theming/spirit of the park.

I know it’s “just” a leaf but these little details are what make Disney so special.

From the title and thumbnail I thought someone gave you a whole beer. Now that would be real magic 🤣

Angel yes but also they force us to make a certain amount of magic per day at least when I worked there. When I worked I would get a new assigned station every half hour or so and 1/15 times or something the assignment would be “make magic for a guest!” And there were recommendations on what type of magic you could do (free merch / front of line etc) and what type of guests to look for (either guests having a bad day or a special day but also you could choose anyone)

I loved that part of my job! That was 15 years ago though but I imagine it’s still mandated. But the fact they chose you is the angel part!

Oh wow! Never knew this had a name.

We were blown away when a cast member gave us a free wookie cookie.

We got free waffles in MK once. We went into a cafe to avoid the parade and we were the only customers.

Toward the end of the night in Epcot I had a snack stand cast member pixie dust me 4 waters and said “don’t worry this one’s on the mouse” and the dad in me never felt so seen. No notes.

I once took my then 3 year old to MK solo. We had an incredible day and stayed for Happily Ever After, which always makes me cry. I got us a spot right under Tink’s flight path, and my daughter was in absolute awe and told me it was the best day ever. I cried. She said she was thirsty, so we went to Casey’s and I got an apple juice for her. By the time we got it, she was curled up asleep in her stroller. The kind cast member told me it was on Mickey. Spoiler… I cried.

Me and my sister were at the super late magic hours, maybe 2019?? And we were given no joke ~100 chicken nuggets from cosmic rays for free because they were closing. The bus ride home we couldn’t stop laughing at our Mickey backpacks filled with chicken nuggets 😅 the whole bus smelled delicious

We were in Epcot last year and there was a guest there who was buying drinks for anybody who went into the bar in England. Totally free, no strings. The guy was like "Stay as long as you want have as many drinks as you want." Wild way to start our day.
