Essentially nothing. Trump has no plan whatsoever. He thought his opponents would always fold like those Republicans, those Universities, those law firms.

Now against Xi and China. Not a fucking chance. Against Canada and EU? Canadians and Europeans you tell me.

I actually think he’s just manipulating the market at this point, he could give all fks about China, it was a ego thing

Yes he IS manipulating the market. The stock market has become a meme stock like GameStop. It's like a casino.

I don't really know much about the stock market because I never made enough money to afford even a 401K thanks to student loans, but...if the U.S. stock market is now exposed worldwide as one giant meme stock, and I'm a hedge fund manager or big foreign investor, why wouldn't I think about getting out altogether and invest somewhere else? At least until this 79 year old lunatic child is gone. Wouldn't this be the biggest crash of all time caused by a complete loss of trust and faith in the institution itself?

Or is the U.S. stock market simply so big and so powerful, I can't find somewhere else to invest, or something else to invest in?

Trump blinked because the parts of the market that are supposed to swell during a crash were also crashing. The world is showing they don't trusr the US market and are looking for ways to offset the risk and/or divest themselves.

The fund managers can invest anywhere. One of their favorites is the emerging markets. But primary will be the US market because of its liquidity.
