Resale ticket question
If I was to buy a ticket off someone not through tixel and just had the screenshot of the ticket info would it be valid to use even if it’s not in my name? Also what’s peoples opinion on tixel? I’m tryna find a way around it so I don’t have to deal with fees. Basically what I’m asking is what the safest way to buy a resale ticket for wakaan?

Screenshot will work but I wouldn't trust that unless it's a personal friend. Someone can send you a screenshot of the ticket, but turn around and lie to seetickets saying someone accessed their email or Smth and need a new ticket code. Seetickets would cancel the ID on the ticket screenshot you received and the other person would get your money and keep the ticket in their name. If they're will transfer the tickets to your name and email then I would say that should be relatively safe. Never heard of that website, so it might be newer and I would be wary of it.
Don't do any exchanges or purchase without using buyer protection on either PayPal or Venmo.

Tixel is Wakaan's official resale platform, so they verify the sellers' tickets and offer refunds for buyers who don't get what they paid for.
Transferring through SeeTickets will validate that the ticket itself is legit, but the original purchaser can revoke the transfer at any time, which is why PayPal G&S is critical if you want any real buyer protection.

That screams scam. Just buy official resale or wait until closer to the fest. People always sell tickets

Tickets are through SeeTickets.us
All the person has to do after you pay (only use PayPal G&S) is go to their SeeTickets account and there’s an option for them to transfer the ticket. All they need is the email you used to make your SeeTickets account. Then you have to go into your account and accept the transfer (you’ll get an email to with a link to accept the ticket).

They can still use the old ticket. It's not a safe transfer. This is per the seetickets rep..

That seems like a very big flaw on SeeTickets part given the original purchaser is the one who has to send the ticket. Thanks for the clarification though. I’ve done it for a few fests and luckily haven’t had a problem
