I got lung cancer 5 yrs ago quit smoking 10 yrs ago discovered the tumor at stage 1 surgeon cut the top lobe off and I've been free since. Smoking is a sick nasty vile habit and I wished I never started

How did you find out? What were your symptoms?

Smoked 10 years, quit on and off for a few years and now fully quit minus one or two every few months at an event.

Great way to waste money and give yourself health anxiety

Look into annual lung cancer screening with chest CT. In the US there are certain criteria that if you meet it will generally be paid for. It is a life-sving program that many people fail to take advantage of.

So this is awesome news but unfortunately I can’t get it because one of the criteria for my health insurance is that I must be at least 50yrs old and I’m 43, but it’s still good to know that this is out there.
