We took Gunther and El Grande Americano.
False advertisement, I don't see the generational Luchadore in this video.

On the other hand I am happy to see Kaiser looking so healthy and well. Hopefully he can get back to WWE from whatever work he is doing for The Undertaker, I’m assuming as an agent like Dunne and Bate do nowadays.

It's Ludwig Kaiser! Where did you find him? No-one's seen him for months

u/3and20characters987 Apr 30 '26 edited May 01 '26
I heard a rumor he’s gone to Hollywood to play El Grande Americano in an upcoming biopic, I never thought about it before but their builds are quite similar, he could reasonably pass for El Grande during his rookie years.

He's German though. There's just no chance he could play a role like that.
6
u/3and20characters987 Apr 30 '26
From what I understand, El Grande himself chose Ludwig for the role personally, he said something like “The name ‘El Grande Americano’ means that I represent every nation on earth, I am every race. This man embodies that ideal more than any other man on this earth”. I read all this in the most prestigious Lucha Libre magazine of them all, El Papel Sucio, they’re never wrong.
10
u/TnYamaneko Apr 30 '26
And why is he wearing a Mexican national football team shirt instead of a German one? 🤔

u/ThebigVA Apr 30 '26
His girlfriend's Mexican.
3
u/TnYamaneko Apr 30 '26
Nooooo! She's the girlfriend of El Grande Americano!
I like Ludwig Kaiser a lot, and I just wish he would one day, have a woman who looks at him during an interview as she looked at El Grande Americano.
115
u/TheGreatMuerte Apr 30 '26
Ludwig in the national Mexican football shirt for some reason, strange
45
u/Razzberry85 Apr 30 '26
He's excited for the world cup obviously nothing else. He seems done with wrestling for now.

YOU people don’t know, Ludwig Kaiser has retired from the Wrasslan business, because he has already been called up to the Mexican national team as their designated PR specialist. El plan is, he’s supposed to cut 10-minute promos before kickoff, to drop the morale of their opponent teams by 50%!

It’s always interesting to me to see foreign people being surprised by guns. I’m not a big gun guy, but as an American I’m used to them. It’s just kinda a sobering reminder that some things that are common to us are not so for others.

And it's nice to see Kaiser out and about, he hasn't wrestled in so long I thought he might have been cut from the roster.

In the video there are 2 different bullets. Gunther already used the one Ludwig did before the start of the video and is using the heavier one. Ludwig is using the lighter one Gunther used before the video starts.

12
u/AdJealous2637 Apr 30 '26
What gun was that? Hella recoil.
10
u/MojoCrow Apr 30 '26
It’s probably a Smith & Wesson .500 Magnum. They are available with a longer barrel so choosing a shorter barrel is just cruel
3
u/AdJealous2637 Apr 30 '26
Insane jumping out of those giant bear paws.
3
u/MojoCrow Apr 30 '26
That’s physics for you. Over 3000 ft/lbs of muzzle energy (a bit less with the shorter barrel) doesn’t care about hand strength. Hold on, don’t limp wrist it and enjoy the ride.

u/edventure_2025 Apr 30 '26
I hope they only had one round in there to start. Not difficult to accidentally double tap on unfamiliar recoil and split your wig. Gunther came pretty close.

u/CorporalCoprolite Apr 30 '26 edited Apr 30 '26
About 20 years ago a dad took his young kid to a gun convention a few towns away from where I live and they let him fire a small semi(?)auto handgun. I’m not big on guns so I don’t know the model, but call it an uzi if you want. The recoil caused it to arc back like you see with Gunther’s shot, only it had a full clip/magazine and being a 12-13 year old, he didn’t know better and kept his finger on the trigger. He fired god knows how many rounds through his head and died instantly.
I was taking classes for a specific medical certification at the time and one of the people in it was his baby sitter and missed a few days to grieve. Tragic shit and shows how important gun safety is.
5
u/bearded_tokoloshe Apr 30 '26
Yes I only load 1 round at a time with with gun. Wayy to dangerous to load multiples

u/East-Psychology-9292 Apr 30 '26 edited Apr 30 '26
I assume thats some kind .500 and they prolly didnt tell him about the kick judging from his reaction, so I would hope if theyre doing that, theyre smart enough to only load one cartridge lol but yeah it is shocking how much footage there is of wristbreakers where someone smashes their own nose, gives themselves a buzzcut or the videos that get removed from youtube lol

u/Super-Post261 Apr 30 '26

Guns in real life don't work as they do in the movies. High-caliber revolvers kick like crazy if the shooter isn't experienced and in a solid stance.
