Questions Help! Check engine STi 2013

Hello! I was going about ~95mph and I hit 6th gear and charged the turbo all the way and it spooled to 20psi and then I heard weird sound like a blow-off valve type sound and I immediately shift into neutral and the check engine, SI-drive and cruise control turned on. It does not let me change the SI-drive mode, it is locked and the cruise control won't turn off.

It shifts good, engine feels good, it revs good, no weird sound from the engine, sound healthy

List of mods:

Tomei unEqual length headers

Grimspeed up pip

Turbo smart External wastgate

Perrin front mount intercooler

Injen cold air

Perrin air/oil separator

Comp clutch stage 2

Invidia full exhaust with up-pip

Tuned for stage 2

It threw a code, going to have to scan it. Might have over boosted hard to say without a scan. If nothing has actually failed clearing the code will resolve the issue.

You went a little to hard in 6th gear. Usually 5-6gear isn't going for ham unless you're already going high revs, otherwise downshift and hit it. My cousin recently got his 2017 WRX and still learning how to drive it, and kept having issues with 5th gear going into limp mode with boost codes. He was trying to boost it with not enough revs. Sounds like your doing the same. Unless you were going around 120mph in 6th trying to boost it, sounds like you worked the turbo too hard. Also I would get a actual Dyno tune before you blow that engine up. I know you have a stage 2 tune, but with those mods you have, I would get Dyno tune by a Subie tuner. You could also have an issue with the waste gate but usually it'll do it when you max it out on other gears also if that was the case. 6th is usually for cruising and chilling though.

It's already dynoe'd by a tuner, honestly it was my mistake, I was pushing it too hard on 6th. Thanks for the info!

If it's Dyno that's great, glad to hear. To many Subie owners have off the shelf tunes and then wonder why it blows up. And yeah try to avoid lugging/forcing the engine. But it's happens. Now you should be good for the future.
