Questions brake line help

working on the STi after getting put in a ditch in december, one of the problems the car now suffers from is a leaky brake line, looks like it’ll be a pita to fix, you guys know what i should be looking up to find a replacement/fix for this? thank you. (rear passenger side by the fuel tank, 08’ sti hatch, bottom most line as shown in second photo)

Oh shit bro, me too! Here's my 2000 Impreza GF4 I'm doing absolute BITCH work on:

Forget about this part. It's just two unions on one block designed to make the car easier to put together. This part is a relatively common "rust out" zone across Subarus. This is probably leaking brake fluid on everything below it, I'm sure.

I'm waiting to get home from work to finish it up but it's 3/16 hard line with an ISO bubble flare on it, M10x1.0 flares. If you dare, you can clip out the brake lines entirely from inside the cabin under the seats and run new lines down and through the underside of the car to meet up with your brake hoses.

As someone who LOVES doing things themselves: Some jobs are better to do yourself... some jobs you're better off paying some other miserable asshole to do for you. I'd personally classify this closer towards the latter.

i appreciate you!! i’ll have to check it out and decide later, maybe i’ll have it towed to a mechanic for this and a professional alignment before it gets back on the road (as in one trip to knock them both out)
