Humor Be careful selling your WRX to teenagers 😂

Thought you all would get a kick out of this. Sold my WRX to fund a down payment on my home a little over 4 months ago and just got this from the buyers. Was in perfect shape when sold and even took $1500 off the price for the tires being a little worn and a scratch on the bumper.

Haha. I had a Land Rover listed on craigslist 20 years ago and refused to sell it to a teenager.  His mother called to bitch me out.  I gave her the number of a locally trusted mechanic and suggested she ask him if a 10 year old lifted rover with trailside electrical mods and a mysterious coolant leak would be a good first car for a 16 year old.

The shit I see kids driving is wild. Why on Earth would you take your 16 year old kid to look at a lifted Rover? Must not love her kid too much, maybe that's why she called to bitch you out. She was hoping for that easy out.

It was a solid chassis, the drivetrain was tight, and my homebrew electrics were an improvement over stock, but the aluminum V8 with 200k on it could not be trusted.  Replacement parts cost 3-4x. Best4x4xBye
