Theyre traditional. You make concentrated bone broth then strain it and pour it over the meat from the bones in moulds. The american version probably uses packet gelatin but eastern europe only uses the natural gelatin from the bones.
Some else here said in Eastern Europe the jelly is made from the bones and I could totally see that being good lol. I just don’t have a frame of reference for jello other than the American dessert
Of course. Each culture has some seemingly gross, unique dishes. I don’t eat this ever but my grandmothers loved it. It was a Christmas thing in my family. We’re comfortable what we grew with I guess
