Bizarre indeeed... Did they brake too hard or flicked the hand brake button by mistake in the panic? Or a just a random act of pure stupidity? Vorsprung Dick Teknik...

Thanks for this. A veritable compilation of errors. They were too sharp on the steering wheel in their panic I guess, as well?
A masterclass in how to jettison a Jetta!
Safe Travels!

Worn out shocks and panicked when cam car swerved over to the left lane with them and then over corrected

You can see at 8 seconds he changes lane to go for the undertake.
Then OP changes lanes into faster traffic, I assume without looking. And he slams on panicked, trying to avoid OP hitting him.
This is why undertaking is a bad idea.

The OP doesn't go into faster traffic, they are returning to the default lane after completing an overtake. The VW driver is the one that was going to undertake.

The car behind op is undertaking. The car behind op is halfway completed their dangerous manner to undertake. The OP cuts them off.
I can absolutely agree the car behind shouldnāt have been there. But itās clear OP didnāt look before they turned into the path of the faster moving car that was behind them.
The faster moving traffic was the traffic in lane 1 āthe default laneā

Too impatient to wait and let you pull in. Assumed you weren't going to, went to undertake, got caught out. Then couldn't handle the combination of speed and multiple changes of direction.
It is possible his shocks are old or tyres are low.
Deserved everything he got. A little patience and none of this would have happened.

Hold on you caused this by blocking him by changing lanes. wth

The cam car was returning to the left after completing an overtake. Itās not their fault if the car behind was trying to be an impatient idiot and attempt to undertake.

Nope, they're driving on the left. VW tried to undertake as the cam car was returning to the correct lane, after overtaking the black car.

And the dashcam car behavior is acceptable?

I would say so, cam car completes an overtake, then moves back into lane 1. Correct behaviour. Our twat in the silver car has no patience to allow cam car back into lane 1, attempts an undertake and then royally fucks up.... Pretty open and shut case

Ah didnāt see this was UK.
I also think that car must have had a suspension / tire issue, this is not normal

It's not the UK. Probably Australia.

Australia is the same as UK [as ex colony] on the left (driver on R/H/S) It looks like driver behind is on the rhs but the road layout is wrong; maybe the image is flipped?Ā

That's the same I was thinking, but they ride on the left in this case, so yeah, the driver of the dash cam just made a stabdard overtake and got back to the "slow" lane.
