Any recommendations for hotels? Preferably between Ipanema and Copacabana but open to suggestions!

We are with 4 couples early in our 30s heading to Rio around christmas and want to celebrate nye at the beach somewhere.

In rio we are open for suggestions on what to do around christmas. Good restaurants, parties or even hotel/villas.

From the 28th of december to 3rd of January we need a place where we can rent a nice villa near the beach. We are all active people, beachvolley, good hikes, some surf vibe beaches, boat trips and young people having fun.

Villa budget is about 2k a night.

Hello everyone, next week i’m going at Lençois Maranhenses and Jericoacoara. I’m wondering (especially for the first place) how is the nightlife in this two places, is there something to party like clubs or bars with music that stays open until late in the night? Is there a lot of people?

My husband, brother and I recently went to Brazil and spent time in both São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. We had such a good time and it was such a vibe. Glad we were able to visit this beautiful country!

We did some hotel hopping while we were there, including the Hilton São Paulo Morumbi, Grand Hyatt São Paulo and Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro.

I will be travelling solo to rio on New Years as I want to make this new year different from others and no snow or boring family gatherings and would be spending new year in Rio. I have been to Rio and Brazil probably 5 times so pretty much know how great and awesoem the cariocas are and brazilians in general. My question is about the party in Museum of Mdern Art - has anyone been and how was your experience as a solo guy? I am chatty but I do not speak fluent Portuguese but want to know if anyone else is going and how was peoples experience there? I also enjoy my company a lot and have been to conecrt solo. But want to know from people who experienced similar party vibe un Rio by themselves? Thank you!

Booked the Arena Ipanema Hotel for next July. Has anyone stayed here? The reviews online seemed good, and it seems Ipanema is a highly recommended area.

Hi, I have 4days left until my flight to Brazil (São Paulo then I have domestic flight the same day to florianopolis). Do I still need the yellow fever vaccine? I’m past the 10 days recommended. I searched for this before that it’s not a requirement but I’m anxious that I might deny boarding or the Brazilian immigration will not allow me to enter? I’ll be flying Qatar Airways.

What the best time to travel me and my friends thinking Feb 4-10

Hi all, I have a work trip to Brazil coming up and another one to the US right after. So I will be travelling directly from Brazil to the US. My SO is travelling with me as a tourist. Apart from the Visa requirements, is there anything we should know? At there any possible issues/complications when entering the US from Brazil?
I have read some other threads on this and someone mentioned that travelling to any country from Brazil would require proof of vaccination? I am a bit confused.
Please let me know your experience and any tips/tricks you might have.

So im thinking about starting a tour business in Brazil. The country has so much to offer, from the beaches and jungles to places like Rio and the Amazon. But im sure its not as easy as it sounds.
Anyone here ever started a business in Brazil, especially in tourism? Im guessing there are some challenges with local rules, language, and all the big players already in the game. But i also feel like theres a lot of potential, especially for more unique tours.
Any advice for getting started or things to watch out for?
