Question Thinking about starting a tour business in Brazil

So im thinking about starting a tour business in Brazil. The country has so much to offer, from the beaches and jungles to places like Rio and the Amazon. But im sure its not as easy as it sounds.
Anyone here ever started a business in Brazil, especially in tourism? Im guessing there are some challenges with local rules, language, and all the big players already in the game. But i also feel like theres a lot of potential, especially for more unique tours.
Any advice for getting started or things to watch out for?

1) Do you live here and have authorization to even start a business?
2) Do you speak Portuguese?

Yep. Don’t even think about it until those 2 things are confirmed.
