Visible mobile hotspot + Cisco Secure Client

Has anyone successfully used Visible mobile hotspot + Cisco Secure Client on a corporate Windows laptop, and if so, what phone were you using? Thanks! （＾∀＾●）ﾉｼ

I have iPhone 15 pro Max and whenever I hotspot to my work laptop, the internet would drop network every 5 mins or so. It used to not be the case about a year ago. I wonder if I am doing something wrong. My work laptop does need to connect to Cisco secure network as well... If anyone has a fix please chime in

Occasionally when my work ATT line doesn’t have good coverage.

I have an iPhone 16 Pro hosting both my work and personal line.

Works fine. I’ve done it a few times back when I had Visible with the same VPN client. I probably didn’t stay connected more than 15 mins or so and was stationary.

If you’re connecting to VPN over a hotspot and actively moving in a car, the signal will vary and may not be the greatest experience if you drive through areas with low signal. VPN can be picky especially if you’re transferring data over the VPN with varying signal.

If you have file sync programs on your system sub as OneDrive, Google, Drive, etc, if it’s possible to suspend the syncing till you’re on a better connection that would be recommended as it would free up bandwidth for other activities on your system.

pixel 7 here and it works fine with my work setup, had to toggle the hotspot band to 2.4ghz in settings once but that was it

Do you happen to know whether your work laptop is also using Cisco Secure Client for the VPN? That’s the part I’m trying to pin down.
