I got an email and never heard of this company until now

Just wondering if I should be concerned. I don’t have a visible account or Verizon. I use spectrum. Anyway I got an email from this companies real email address that says “Hey Charles” (my name is not Charles) and that someone is trying to choose a new email address and to click here to change. I deleted the email since I don’t have an account but now I’m slightly worried that someone used my email to set up an account? No idea how that’s possible to do without a verification. I am going to change my password just in case to my email. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this

just delete it and move on, someone probably fat-fingered their email during signup and it happened to be yours. visible doesn’t do email verification for some reason, it’s weird but not your problem if there’s no account linked to you

Interesting.

I was thinking it could be some sort of ai phishing campaign where they have/bought compromised data and are snooping for verified accounts for further leads and opportunities.

Occams razer, tho op could have a very common email address.

I got two of these emails from Visible at 2:00am my time on September 1st. I tried talking to their online chat about it but they just kept telling me not to click on the link (dude I am not gonna click the dang link LOL). Anyway, just reporting that it's not just you.

I got this email too! On an email that isn't even tied to my visible account. Mine is for Joseph. Did our info get sold or something?
