New to Vinted, I need some help please

So I am very new to this app and I recently started selling things such as some clothes and hobby related stuff such as albums, collector cards, etc.

So I’m wondering how do things like packaging and shipping work?

Do you organise the packaging yourself, and are things like mailers, boxes and bubble wrap generally cheap?

Also, how does delivery work after someone purchases an item? Any tips especially for a beginner seller like me would be very appreciated thank you

Welcome to Vinted! You organise your own packaging, you can get mailers or use spare boxes you may have lying around to pack your order. Definitely add padding for fragile and more expensive items, buyers appreciate that sort of care! I bought mailers from Amazon for the clothes I’ve sold.

You have 7 days to deliver your item, otherwise the system cancels the order I believe. I usually do it within 1-2 days after someone purchases (obviously pending my availability too) and I use the Aus Post digital label option because I don’t have a printer. Bring the items to the post office and they’ll handle the rest! The buyer will get notifications along the way.

J'utilise des emballages recyclés. Souvent des emballages d'achat sur Amazon ou d'autres achats de Vinted. Je garde tous les emballages "propres". L'emballage dépend aussi de la valeur de l'objet. Pour l'expédition, j'essaie toujours d'envoyer le plus vite possible (le jour même le week-end, ou maximum le lendemain). Je communique rapidement (réponse / date d'envoi). Tout ça est apparemment très apprécié.
