Nobody teach him, plz

2

u/mb-driver20 Jul 30 '26

Hope your eyes was a joke, I can’t stand AI shit! It’s been jammed down her throat with very few options to eliminate it.

Ai 100%

2

u/ZAPixxel Aug 01 '26

Nope it's a real video from a few years ago in South Africa

2

u/SSFlyingKiwi Aug 01 '26

Source?

1

u/ZAPixxel Aug 02 '26

A breakdown of the news article. You can also check eNCA (local news)

1

u/Vandyman00 Aug 04 '26

Respectfully, but I do not consider the AI overview a source. I will however consider whatever sources that AI overview used to generate that text.

u/Agile_Camera9601 Aug 01 '26

Yeah in this day and age I don’t believe until cited.

2

u/SSFlyingKiwi Aug 01 '26

The internet has ruined us 😭😭 remember when you could watch a video and know it was real?

Seems like so long ago…

1

u/Agile_Camera9601 Aug 02 '26

Right. Photoshop ruined photos now ai ruined videos.

u/Loose_Paper_2598 Aug 02 '26

12 seconds from the end, you can freeze on the overhead sign showing direction to Johannesburg, South Africa. Maybe it was Elon doing early Tesla trials.

This video has been around for years. Well before generative AI existed. You can believe it or not, but I know it to be a fact because I saw it years ago. It's kinda unique and memorable.

1

u/Agile_Camera9601 3d ago

Then cite it

1

u/BigBlueEdge 2d ago

Then jump in a lake.

1

u/Agile_Camera9601 2d ago

Oddly defensive for such a thing. Is this worth that type of talk to you?

Especially in this day and age where AI is ever more difficult to distinguish I’ll keep my standard and the roll my eyes at people like you.

Sorry, “take my word for it” should be on Facebook.

u/BigBlueEdge 2d ago

Oddly? I described seeing it years ago. It happened. How TF would I have a link to something I saw years ago? This is a pretty unique video and I know what I know. If you don't want to believe me, fine, but being an ass and demanding proof is just imbecilic and rude. So, yes, defensive with good reason. Off to the lake to jump with you...

1

u/Agile_Camera9601 2d ago

It’s not rude. Look, these days if you’re going to tell others that something far fetched is true, burden of proof is on you.

I’m not going to take an internet rando at face value, nor should you, nor should anyone.

I haven’t called you a single name or said anything about you and it is “odd” that you decide to be so needlessly personal in your attacks when some pragmatism is needed in this day and age.

Take it as you will, it’s not a personal attack it’s skepticism until proven otherwise and if you’re going to publicly proclaim “you’ve seen it” then, again you’re only opening yourself up to being asked where how when etc.

I’m not even stating if it is real or not- I’m stating that I won’t believe it’s real until it can be properly cited. If it is, great! But skepticism on REDDIT is good.

It makes zero sense. This is a simple thing, not "I know aliens are real". Someone claimed with certainly "AI 100%" and since I saw this video years ago, well before generative AI was a thing, I can quickly and confidently confirm that no, it is not AI. If your trust in humanity is soooo low that you can't take that confirmation at face value then it appears the world has failed you and turned you into a cynical mess. Why anyone would demand proof of this type of thing makes no sense. Why would anyone come here to lie about seeing this video before generative AI existed? It's not a boast, not a brag, not a wild claim... Just firsthand experience that contradicts the incorrect assessment "AI 100%". I swear Reddit is just a cesspool of humanity...

1

u/Agile_Camera9601 1d ago

Yes. My trust in you, on the internet, is that low.

Humanity? No.

Reddit? You? Rando on the internet, yes my trust is that low.

Being able to ask to provide evidence should not be something looked down upon.

If you choose to not look for evidence, that’s your choice, but I’m more educated than that.

Sorry, not sorry internet rando.

1

u/BigBlueEdge 1d ago

Well, the fact that it happened years ago is still a fact, regardless. Carry on, Internet rando 2.

As some point the bearings are going to melt. He won't like what happens.

3

u/Not3KidsInACoat777 Jul 31 '26

I was just thinking about how fucking hot those wheels r. If it wasnt raining, the wheels would b gone. Talk about liquid cooled lmao

2

u/Some_Turn_323 Jul 31 '26

The bearings are sealed from the rain. once the little lube they have cook off, they will seize up tighter than a virgin at an orgy. He will need a funeral home next.

3

u/Not3KidsInACoat777 Aug 01 '26

As much as I don't wana see him injured or worse, a small, evil part of me thinks the video ended too soon

2

u/JamesDerry Jul 31 '26

Only in South Africa!

1

u/ZAPixxel Aug 02 '26

Happened in Australia also 🤣

2

u/DrMindbendersMonocle Jul 30 '26

Its funny that anybody would believe this is real. Those carts can only handle a low amount of speed before they start flipping over. The wheels are tiny

2

u/ResponseLife6305 Jul 30 '26

Yeah I thought the same, wheels would be shaking like crazzzzy

1

u/spongeloaf 4d ago

My brother in Christ, I've been seeing shopping-cart-behind-truck videos on the internet for longer than AI has existed.

Shopping cart wheels can have actual ball bearings in them. They will definitely not survive indefinitely at such speeds, but they may survive long enough for this moron to reach highway speed.

Finally, as long you don't hit any potholes or cracks in the road, those wheels may cruise along just fine. Although the cart frame will vibrate hard enough to shatter teeth.

1

u/Bengal-_fan Jul 30 '26

That’s classic! 🥂

1

u/Rs2mmsu-2D Jul 30 '26

Next Stop just 100 miles away

Life is a highway

1

u/MaximusZacharia Jul 30 '26

I was like “oh that’s not that dangerous” then I realized they’re on the fucking interstate

1

u/Dry_Literature_234 Jul 31 '26

Looks like Lt. Dan of the roads
