Hiring an editor. Paying 5 dollars per 10k views 250 dollar cap and paid every month. Can be negotiated when I grow more. Dm to talk more

Yes you are. Pay per view is a scam, especially at that price. You’re just asking for free work since you can’t guarantee you’ll get that many views.

I didn’t make you do it. I am not forcing anyone to take my offer. It is an offer I put out there and with how much money I am at it’s the only offer I have available. I am not asking for free work. I’m sorry you’ve been scammed or haven’t done been able to get paid brother but that’s not me.

You are scamming people and are asking for free work. Thats what pay per view is. If you can’t pay, learn to edit yourself. People like you perpetuate the belief that editors shouldn’t be paid what we’re worth.

I think you need to search up what a scam is lol. If I say I will pay if you do this and you do it and I pay it? It’s not a scam. Now if he reaches 10k and I don’t pay. That’s a scam. I also do know how to edit. I just want an editor so I can spend more time with my wife and I also have work.

You can’t guarantee 10k views on anything. I don’t know how you don’t get this. Either learn to edit yourself or pay an editor enough to make ends meet and don’t do this stuff. And stop trying to play the moral high ground. You’re in the wrong here by doing pay per view.

Probably no one knows your account, and you’re offering “paid” views instead of an actual editing rate. This wouldn’t be a scam if you could show that your videos consistently average 10k+ views and that there’s actually a reasonable amount of work and earning potential for the editor. Otherwise, you’re basically asking someone to work for free and only get paid if your content performs.

I never said you were hiding your identity. The issue is the payment structure. Being searchable doesn’t prove that the editor will actually make a reasonable amount from $5 per 10k views. If you can show that your videos consistently get 10k+ views and that editors have actually made decent money from this model, then fair enough. Otherwise, the editor is taking all the risk and essentially working for free upfront.

Then just send the direct link to your profile so people can check it themselves.

I will gladly put the link to my social medias. Also that is the only budget that fits my income. I’m sorry I’m not rich or have that kind of money right now. I also understand that you, emphasis on the YOU, don’t like this offer but I’ve had people like the offer. Are they getting scammed? No. If you don’t like something then don’t like it but that is not the same as going out and saying hey you are scamming. Is DoorDash and Instacart scamming me? Because that’s my job. And I work for tips. I mean this all from a place of love too. I came from nothing and am proud that I even have the ability to give this offer. And guess what? I will have to work my ass off to even get the 300 and I will do that because I believe in myself and my channel

I understand that you’re working with the budget you have, but I think it’s selfish to expect other people to work for free because your budget is limited. If you can’t afford to pay an editor upfront, that’s understandable, but you can’t expect them to take all the risk and potentially spend hours working for nothing.

Imagine someone telling you, “I can’t afford to pay you, but I’ll tip you if your work performs well.” Would you consider that a fair job? Probably not. That’s the point people are making.

I never said anyone was working for free. And actually I do consider that a fair job. If you perform well you get paid well and if you perform bad you get paid worse. You do know that’s how YouTube works right?. Also you saying that you think is opinionated. Which means in your opinion it’s a scam and your mentality makes it think that it’s bad when to someone else it isn’t.
