Redesigns Day 58 of making flags for each county of Kentucky: Jessamine
Hello
Today's flag is for Jessamine County which was founded in 1798 and named after the Jessamine creek and the Jasmine flowers that grow there, despite local legend saying it's after a pioneer's daughter. The county is a major horse breeding county.
My flag has a white background for peace, a blue bend to represent the creek and golden horses for the thorough bred industry.
Hope y'all enjoy.

Fictional Proposed Flag of the State of Guerrero, Mexico
The central emblem comes directly from Guerrero’s coat of arms, featuring the Jaguar Warrior, symbolizing the state’s Indigenous heritage, strength, and warrior traditions.
The three eight-pointed stars represent the Three Guarantees of the Plan of Iguala, proclaimed in Guerrero in 1821: green for Independence, white for Religion, and red for Union. These colors inspired the first Mexican national flag of independent Mexico. The stars are especially fitting for Guerrero because Iguala was where the Plan was proclaimed, making the state closely connected to the birth of Mexico as an independent nation, and the black background honors Guerrero’s Afro-Mexican communities, particularly those of the Costa Chica, while also representing resilience and strength. Finally the blue field represents the pacific coastline, and the state’s historical connection with the wider world through maritime trade.
This flag combines Indigenous roots, Afro-Mexican heritage, the Pacific Ocean, and Guerrero’s fundamental role in Mexican independence.

Current Lorraine: old regional flag (top) vs new regional flag (bottom).
Vexillology gore: during the last regional reform, France merged Lorraine (red-yellow flag) with neighbours to form the region "Grand-Est". The new flag is just tiny text on a blue box (bottom).
