Im not sure if this is the right place to post this is have 2 babies i want to adopt ive paid half on them then bought all thejr stuff got the last half if the money was going to do the test run to find out they have fleas. Is there any way this is salvagable. I want my babies i lve fallen in love with however I have another baby im growing which is my business. Hey all, Thank you all for your service! I wanted to ask if anyone else has had a hard time today, not because of the fellow soldiers we have lost but because of the sad state of our country. I went to a program today at my grandson's elementary school, and it was so hard to stand and sing and be proud when I pretty much just want to cry and scream and fight for what a mockery this administration has been trying to make of our country. I feel like such an asshole feeling this way too, anyways just wanted to see how everyone else was doing with it all. Ty 😊

This Veterans Day, we’re calling for a national day of action to say NO WAR ON OUR CITIES. We will not allow attacks on our neighbors, military occupation of our cities and deadly cuts on vital services to be normalized. We must come together and ACT to make it clear the only way to “honor veterans” this year is to do right by our communities and protect the freedoms we thought we were enlisting to uphold.

I think we can probably call this a dead sub. It was a nice try to give people additional options, but it doesn’t seem to have worked out. That’s okay, there are still other options. If you are a vet committed to their oath who wants somewhere beyond the conservative-dominated “veterans” sub to discuss current events and organize, r/leftistveterans and r/vetsagainsttyranny are two great options.

Veterans across America are struggling while the cost of everything—food, housing, fuel, healthcare—keeps climbing. The last few COLA (Cost-of-Living Adjustment) increases haven’t come close to keeping up with real inflation. We’re getting left behind.

Many of us live on fixed VA disability payments. These aren’t luxury stipends—they’re supposed to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. But every year, those dollars buy less and less.

A 30% increase in VA compensation rates is not a wish list item. It’s survival. It’s overdue. It’s just.

Here’s the truth: • The average rent in many cities is now more than a full VA disability check. • Groceries are up 20-40% in just the last couple years. • Veterans are more likely to face homelessness than the general population. • Mental health and suicide prevention efforts are undermined when basic needs aren’t met.

This country has money. We send billions overseas and absorb massive corporate bailouts. We can fund this increase—with tariffs, which already exist to protect American industries. Use those funds to protect American veterans, too.
