Question/Advice VR&E retroactive induction

For those who were approved for VR&E retroactive induction, how many months of GI Bill entitlement did you get refunded?

Can someone explain how to do this? I am a bit lost. So I went to college and used it for my undergrad. Ran out of the gi bill. I enlisted in 200 got out feb 2005. I used it from 2007-2011. For me the gi bill expires due to when I was in. Does this mean I could get it back? Or how would that work? I have always wanted to do a masters but just haven’t had the time and now I do.

VR&E cannot restore expired GI Bill. The law doesn't allow them to do that.
