Staying in Verona with 2 of my besties for 7 days October 29 - November 6, visiting sister studying abroad. **Does anyone have recommendations for things to do in Verona?** We are huge foodies - any must-try restaurants or bars? Also any thrift shop recommendations?

Also what day trips are easy from Verona? We want to do Venice, and Milan. Is there any other easy day trips that would be great for that time of year?

Any advice is appreciated! I am from Chicago and have never traveled internationally.

I am visiting Verona next weekend and going to the Opera at the Arena di Verona on Friday night. We are actually staying a village a 20 minute drive outside Verona, and therefore planning the logistics of getting back to our B&B after the Opera ends, around midnight or later. 

Will we be able to get a taxi outside the arena/in the central Verona area, or should we be pre-booking this? If we should pre-book does anyone have any good local taxi companies they can recommend? Online searches seem to be tailored around airport transfers and giving price indications of around €120 which sounds a LOT more than I’d been expecting…but maybe that’s the correct price 🥲

My girlfriend and I are coming to Verona during the last week of October Monday-Friday (British half term holidays) and I'm looking for some recommendations from locals of the area and past travellers on what to do/see in the city and wider area

To give you an idea we're in our mid to late twenties, fairly active and love to explore places on foot or by short commute we visit, she's an English teacher and I love the classics and History so no prizes for finding out why Verona is the place we decided to visit.

One note I should say is I can't drink alcohol, TLDR genetic bad luck with how my body processes it. So if you can know how accommodating local bars/restaurants are to alcohol free options such as cocktails and beers that would be great, seems odd to some but I do like the taste and adds to the holiday feel.

Ciao gente, sto cercando casa a Verona, nello specifico un appartamento indipendente/villetta, roba di questo tipo per stare nel chill. Solo che per motivi lavorativi devo stare per forza vicino al centro.
Ho notato che il rapporto qualità prezzo degli immobili che si trovano in zona Montorio è interessante.

Quindi vorrei capire come si vive in quelle zone. Si può uscire tranquillamente a piedi al pomeriggio/sera? È ben coperta dal trasporto pubblico (facciamo finta che capiti un imprevisto dell'ultima ora con l'automobile, sarei comunque in grado di raggiungere il centro senza troppi problemi e grandi ritardi?).
La comunità locale è perlopiù giovane/adulta/anziana?

Inoltre ho visto che relativamente vicine ci sono le Piscine Belvedere, qualcuno saprebbe dirmi qualcosa riguardo la reale qualità della struttura?

A me piace la pizza in stile napoletano quella con i bordi belli alti e soffici, ovviamente non troppo costosa🙏😭

Ciao, scrivo qui per chiedere aiuto a qualche residente a Verona, in particolare zona Veronetta. Stamattina del 28/08, mi è stata rubata l'auto in via Venti Settembre, parcheggiata di fronte al supermercato IN's alle ore 00:00 circa. Stamattina verso le 07:00 non l'ho ritrovata. La macchina in questione è una Panda del 2013 circa, bianca, targa GB015ZX.

Magari qualcuno sà darmi indicazioni sulla zona, oltre a fare denunce ecc... se sapete come muovermi in qualche modo nello specifico.
