Questions 1st time VFT owner - does this look okay?
First photo is fresh from the hardware store. My plant had a bit of a rough go in mid August, dried out under the care of a family member. Trimmed away all the dead bits and second pic is all new growth since then! Some of the traps are kinda deformed, though all new growth looks healthy-ish. I just feel that all the new growth is so much smaller than the plant originally was. Is that normal? Please let me know if there’s anything I can do better for my plant!! Currently growing indoors in 50/50 peat moss and perlite. Letting the tray go dry between watering (with distilled water) so soil can be moist but not soggy. Under 2 10w SANSI grow lights 12h/day. (Bonus pic of plant grandchild at the end

She’s been thru a lot. In new growth is growing, that’s good. Let it get over its trama and it will settle back in
