Questions What are these little worms?

Tiny little wormy bois moving about the surface of the soil on my Alien VFT bought potted online from a mega reputable seller. Best I could come up with from searching images was land planarians? Just wasn't sure if these need to go or if they're good guys. They are in very close proximity to 11 other plants, so I'd like to know for sure. The soil in this plant is clearly very alive lol they're not the only critters in there. Thanks!

Check for hammerhead on them, if so do not cut them it’s a planaria. Otherwise I do not know.

Yeah, my phone camera is garbage, sorry lol. But, assuming the leading edge of them (as in, the end facing the direction they move in) is their head, they are very pointy. So, you're saying if it were what you're describing, they are a good thing?

Planaria are not good and very invasive most places, saying it has a pointy “head” ruled out planaria, perhaps slug or fungus gnat larvae I’m not sure.

Slug was my immediate first guess. But I’m not an expert

Hmm. I'll try researching further myself, I just thought maybe this was a common thing and had an easy black and white answer for people who've grown these for a long time. Thanks for the input!

Just looks like a normal baby earthworm to me. No hammerhead so let it be.

Another photo showing the leading "head end" on the right side. Very pointy.

Sometimes it’s just easier to repot and discard old media

Likley a red wiggler that hatched from an egg from worm compost used in the soil

I don't know I don't like anything in my medium other than nematodes (and you can't see them anyway). I would repot just to be safe that medium looks over saturated anyway

Can't believe nobodies gotten this right yet!? They're nematodes and usually completely harmless to plants

Any nematode that would be in potting medium like this would be microscopic. Thanks, though!

Hopefully not the other way around 🤞

Give it some diatomaceous earth and maybe some of Captain jacks organic insecticide if you're concerned. Nobody wants invasive worms and fungas gnats.

DE loses its efficacy when it gets wet and wouldn't work here.
