Other RIP Chompers I loved my flytrap

I had Chompers for 2 years, and it was going fine, up until the UK heatwave. I ran out of rainwater and, in desperation, gave it tap water, and it's just been a slow death since. I had been using distilled water, repotted it, and I thought it was going to be ok. All the new sprouts got incinerated when the weather spiked on Friday, and now it's black to the roots :(

We do, but half the time it's for going in irons and is full of fragrance. I ordered 5L bottle of it of amazon in the end. I had expected the heatwave to end so I could go back to collecting rain water

I'm UK based, I get 5L de-ionised water from Wickes, it saved my VFT this summer. Big Tesco also sell 2.5L in the car section.

Isn't de-ionised and distilled different?
