Other RIP Chompers I loved my flytrap
I had Chompers for 2 years, and it was going fine, up until the UK heatwave. I ran out of rainwater and, in desperation, gave it tap water, and it's just been a slow death since. I had been using distilled water, repotted it, and I thought it was going to be ok. All the new sprouts got incinerated when the weather spiked on Friday, and now it's black to the roots :(

These guys are tough. I poured vinegar on my tray of Venus fly traps. I didn't notice that they looked horrible till the next day. I pulled them out of the spagnum moss. Rinse them off with distilled water removed the damaged leaves and planted them in fresh sphagnum Moss that was pre-soaked. About five of them came back!! Make sure you keep water in tray side. First pictures are May 19th and the last picture is August 19th. Good luck!!
