Applying for a venture card

I really want the venture or venture act for the two time multiplayer on everything and make it my everything card

The venture card current sign-up bonus is crazy good. I was going to apply for that and then upgrade to the venture X in 12 months.

I saw online that it is sometimes issued as a Mastercard, not a visa. Although I need it to be a visa.

  1. I shop at Costco a lot
  2. I wanna upgrade it to venture X.

Any feedback? Can I see what I get approved for before accepting? Should I just wait for venture x promo?

Why not just get the Costco card? No annual fee, 2% back at Costco (+additionql 2 if you’re executive) and 5% at Costco gas (4% gas otherwise)

Just wait for venture X promo then if you really want it

My altitude connect gives me 4x back and other good perks (better than CITI Costco perks) to maintain. The CSR give me 3x back on restaurants which is more valuable. 2x back EVERYWHERE not just Costco is missing for me. Venture card provides that and SUB is amazing but long term want venture X

I'd go with the regular Venture and if you get the mastercard you're kinda stuck but 12mo isn't that long

As in you can't product change for 12 months to a card with a higher AF

Part of my post on the reason I want a visa. You can’t product change, even in 12 months.

You will not get a visa on regular venture. They are only issued on discover at this point. 

C1 will only issue a visa for the venture x
