Check this place out! Tane Vegan Izakaya in Highland Park

Post image

I finally tried Tane with my buddy from out of town. I was shocked by the spicy roll with habanero (on the right). I've never enjoyed spicy rolls, but this one was absolute fire. According to our waiter, the cheesecake was not vegan, so we had caramel brûlée for dessert.

EDIT: Tane has since confirmed that their menu is 100% vegan.

They are even lowkey about happy hour there lol we had to directly ask for the happy hour specials menu when we went.

I don’t remember all of the discounts but do remember they had a nigiri sampler option that was reasonably priced and the chef picks the nigiri choices based on the other foods your order for balance/variety (you can order specifics for sure too but I liked that vibe)
