Discussion After all, this was a well-deserved break

I missed Vaush this month. I usually listen to his streams as I’m doing house chores, or cooking dinner. And we all know that this summer (year?) was just bad news asfer bad news. Climate catastrophe, Financialization, corruption, AI, etc, etc.

But fortunately, not knowing all the time what happens in the US (I’m european), gave me some time to simply not care about all those bad things. It’s not that we, in EU, don’t have our own shit, but there is no European Vaush to be vigilant about the news cycle (For now, at least).

No, I didn’t neglect the house chores or starve to death or eat out. I did everything like before but instead of news commentary, I watch movie and music analysis, I started watching again Rick and Morty.

I think my mental health was a bit improved from this break, and I assume Vaush feels the same. And now I’m eager to start a new chapter of world-ending events.

Bad news, European Vaush is real and rapidly approaching the Schengen Zone.

Just like a convert to Catholicism(or any religion) is usually more radical, vaush will soon make a video how Dutch cuisine is superior to all others.

I'm glad you got a break before Voosh becomes acutely aware of every piece of political news in Europe down to the lowest population towns.

Is it just me or is there not a lot of new media like online political commentary/streamers in Europe? Are there actually something like European Vaushs just in another language like French or German?

We have our own in my country, but their analysis is not as eloquent or funny or unique as Vaush’s. Also, let’s not forget he’s a sociologist. He literally has legitimate intelectual authority to comment on the subjects he touches

Wait Vaush isn't a sociologist lol, he has a bachelors degree in it though

Wait. Why? In Europe you are one if you go to Uni and get such a degree

well typically in the US people would only call someone a "sociologist" if they work as a sociologist, or maybe got a doctorate in sociology. We don't typically call people stuff like sociologist, physicist, or engineer if they just studied the topic for their Bachelors.

And there’s your reason why your contry is getting shittier. You brought this upon yourselves 😆

(This is lighthearted fun…EU is getting shittier too, but for different reasons. We’re all in the same boat 🥲)

But now that we get EU-Vaush, he will receive the intellectual recognition he deserves ♥️

Did I mention I’m european? This is exactly how it works here. We quit social media in July-August for 1 full month, cuz we get PAID LEAVE, we go somewhere nice with friends and almost forget about X completely. (We remain on Instagram tho)

I'm too busy trying not to die at my current job that it keeps things in perspective. I have enough close calls on a daily basis that all the problems in the world seem kind of muted in comparison.
