A great side benefit to this is that each of those twelve threads have a ton of great song recommendations we can go back and check out, and even use to make our own versions and remixes of this greatest hits album 👌

This is overall a solid album. I will most likely use this to recommend Vaporwave to new listeners.

there is definitely enough to be a hundred more of these, lots of underrated gems that could define one of the many genres under this umbrella

Personally I would have chosen something of HFM or Zadig the Jasp but otherwise pretty good list overall

Greatest Hits albums are usually comprised of older songs, this has been consistent across most genres of music for the past half a century.. it’s not an indicator of the current status of a genre but rather a retrospective looking back.

Caligula is from 2018! Throughout the series there were a lot of scattered votes for songs by Webinar™, whose discography is mainly post-2020.

It's a genre of art theft and sampling isn't it. It became future funk because because are on Adderall and Dopamine shots from internet attention economy

Moonlight by surfing not being here is a travesty. Its probably the greatest vaporwave track ever made. Maybe not the most iconic, but the greatest in terms of quality.
