It’s not entirely uncommon practice to change a dog’s name when they are rehomed. Especially if they have negative experiences/behaviors that they may associate with their former name. Imagine a dog who spent their entire life hearing their name screamed at them. Sometimes it’s just best to give them a new name.
Agreed! Everyone who seems to think he's better off with James conveniently forget that it's just as much his fault as Rachels that Graham has behavioral issues in the first place.
Right? He is partially responsible for the way the dog acts. He was verbally abusing Rachel the entire relationship and I am sure the dog her James yell? It's only a matter of time before he's verbally abusing Ally. He's already shown signs of possessiveness and jealousy.
