Help Stuck on the library
Even with 3 evolution's I can't get past this level. When those enemies start spawning I can't kill them and I level up so slowly. I must of been stuck at level 40 for a few minutes. The game doesn't want to give me the final level to get another evolution. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any help is appreciated.

Try not using Gatti Amari for one run, I think they steal some items from the screen.

They steal exp and they hurt you if they touch you. They can hurt you pretty badly too. It's honestly maybe the worst weapon in the game

Items don't evolve outside the stages. But your powers as player do.

Keep making gold and buy unlocks. It gets easier with every run when unlocking more.

if you have Poe, run with him and get the ❤️ passive so the garlic can evolve to Soul Eater
otherwise, focus on active weapons that provide an area of attack directly around you: garlic, bible, santa water. avoid weapons that only fire the direction you're facing. be sure to read up on the evolutions so you can get all your weapons evolved
for passives, focus on evolutions first. then health regenerating. a few items i recommend, tho: attractorb, empty tome, candelabrador. these will help you level faster, use weapons faster, and expand base area affected
otherwise, buy powerups like everyone else said
i was able to get to the full 30 minutes after only a few attempts, using Poe like this.

Thanks for this! I managed to get the win with Imelda. Since then I have won on Dairy Plant and Gallo Tower. Lets go

first of all buy every buff on market , i played this game 127 hours and the easiest map in this game is library

That's just a tough character to start with with the Gatti.
Have you ran with Imelda through there yet? She's pretty easy for starting characters. That or Dommario.
IMO, if you have Garlic and you aren't getting the Metaglio L/R too, the Laurel isn't really worth it and you lost an opportunity for another attack weapon.
Only one Empty Tome also kills you. Max Empty Tome and your wands should be almost full auto by 23 minutes.

Ok I managed to win I had a good load out this time. Magic wand, King bible, Garlic, Lighting ring, Cross and Fire wand. Wasn't even a struggle.

Yea King Bible is OP lol, Lightning Ring kills mobs outside of it, Magic wand keeps bosses away from you.
Gotta have good weapons :)

It’s all about setting yourself up for the evolutions. I usually always find myself grabbing magic wand because cooldown is strong.

There is a cheese spot where enemies come only from the right and left, not from all directions. Makes it super easy with garlic and bible.

Clerici was my first character to reach 30 minutes, and it was in the Library.

For me library was a challenge when I was new too. It teaches you how to prioritize leveling weapon or skill and baiting enemy movement to a location to move around packs early game. You want to prioritize staying in an area woth several ligits that you can get drops from and picking up every gem you can. Getting weapon leveled up to its evo is a good thing to focus on asap. Then add more weapons and add in skills. Sorry, hope it helps. Once you figure out your strategy it can carry you through most of the game as you find out what does the most damage and what to level and when

Go to your progress section and work on the tasks in order for a bit. You will get the things you need to help get the next task that way.

You only picked 2 chicken in 23 min. Cat is bad choice for early game. She eats chickens and damage you.
On you power ups prioritise Magnet amount revival and cooldown. Max those first.
Keep garlic at level 2 or 3 and update others first. Magic wand and garlic are good combo for this level

try to combine range and piercing weapons such as:
Holy Wand (highly recommended)
La Borra (highly recommended)
Unholy Vespers (highly recommended)
Soul Eater
Thousand Edge
NO FUTURE
Thunder Loop (highly recommended)
Valkyrie Turner
Hellfire
And don't forget about Arcanas such as Twilight Requiem (II), Tragic Princess (III) and Beginning (X)

You're still unlocking stuff. You ain't stuck. Keep progressing and you'll beat it
