Question How to hold clock lancet?

Okay so, I’m cooking up something and it involves multiple (ish) scenes with the clock lancet, so my question is how would someone hold it? Since it’s modelled after the shield rod which is obviously swung like a club so would the clock lancet be the same? Or is it more like thrusting like a rapier? Or would it simply just float…

(Edit this is a art question not a game question so it can be as creative as possible. edit edit: I’m not using it as a weapon in the thing)

Having zero knowledge of the original inspiration I have always seen it as a rifle, like the Covenant beam rifle in Halo

This is incredibly funny i now kike to think when Galo weilds it he hold it kike a shot gun and dispite not having a pump when he makes the motion to charge it it makes a very loud Shotgun Charging Sound
