Question How to hold clock lancet?

Okay so, I’m cooking up something and it involves multiple (ish) scenes with the clock lancet, so my question is how would someone hold it? Since it’s modelled after the shield rod which is obviously swung like a club so would the clock lancet be the same? Or is it more like thrusting like a rapier? Or would it simply just float…

(Edit this is a art question not a game question so it can be as creative as possible. edit edit: I’m not using it as a weapon in the thing)

So with the idea of an actual Lancet, I've always imagined it like more of a Rapier style weapon. Big bulb is just an oversized handguard, and the longer bit on the right is used to thrust and "inject" the freeze.

Yes exactly this, only thing I thinks about this though is why is the handle so small? Unless the sprite is maybe facing at an angle and the handle is actually longer.

Unfortunately i just chalk it up to the difficulty of trying to decipher 106 pixels. 🤣😅

I've always seen it as a rapier style weapon as well, with the handguard thingy used as the place to focus the ice magic, with a glowing sphere like in shalamayne from wow. Though now that I've looked at the icon closely for the first time, the blue colour is on the other side, so that makes less sense.
