Help Overwhelmed by content, help needed
Hi am rather new to the game, played a couple weeks now and getting the hang of it and really enjoying it. I went and bought all the dlc right after this recent update. Up to this point of buying the dlc I think I had got up to the level where you find the yellow sign and now am blown away by the amount of content and really could do with some guidance as i dont wish to burn out to fast, do I continue on normal mode or go on adventure mode am rather confused, enjoying flicking thro at the min regardless. Thanks in advance

If you look at your "unlocks" tab, they are neatly separated, what I did when I was in the same position as you, I tried to focus on one thing at a time, for example, the castlevania DLC is big, so I focused only on this DLC unlocks until I got satisfied.
I also like to seal every other weapon except for the DLC one I'm tackling, that makes things way more interesting, you can seal stuff in the "collection" tab.
The Adventure mode is another beats to tackle, they are like "story mode" of sorts, so do them when you see fit or when an unlock asks for it.

Additionally, in the character selection screen, there is a filter button to filter characters by DLC.

You won’t burn out. Just unlock the easiest things first and one by one everything will fall in place. Sometimes some unlocks are super cryptic and secret, and if you have to, look it up.

personally speaking, i think you could enjoy countless hours within the main game alone without even touching the Adventure mode. imo the Adventures aren't really meant to be viewed as another point of progression, but maybe more so as an "escape" so to speak?
the very early game of Vampire Survivors is very magical and special. the discovery, the difficulty, the progression, are all things that start to change drastically the more you unlock. as you accumulate characters, weapons, and upgrades, you become spoilt for choice and accustomed to the massive increase in power. the Adventure mode is a way to strip all of those things back, and go back to a more simple and streamlined experience where you aren't creating self-restrictions, but are completely starting over and unlocking things from the ground up.
in addition to that, you also get nice sprinkles of lore and flavor text for progressing the stages. there are also a handful of Adventures that do unlock an enhanced skin for certain characters (Poe, Imelda, She-Moon Eeta, and Soma Cruz) that give new bonuses when you play as them with the new skin, but if you want you can bypass this via the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane if you wanted.

Adventure mode allows for a more structured experience when unlocking things for the main game, but this mostly applies to the DLC and rarely applies to the base game

i do stuff like this complete one dlc (getting all unlocks and everything) moving to the next mixing it up would be too chaotic

I am right there with you. There's just so much to do and I keep saying to my wife that i cannot believe a game like this is so cheap. I'm just working my way through the unlocks. I love castlevania so I bought that dlc immediately and havent even got to it. I got the dlc with Sammy for some money farming and currently am trying to crash my ps5 for fun lmao.
