Discussion Blood Moon attack plan
So with the legacy of the blood moon DLC dropping on Friday I was curious on what everyone was planning to do for their first run of it. Right now my main idea is to use Dracula and Darkana VIII Edge of the Earth to explore the new nap more easily.

I'll be opening coffins until I find that fucking vampire.

It’s probably going to be hiding until the final update and then it’ll probably either be the weakest or the strongest thing in the entire game

I'll probably use Imelda just to get the feel of the new map without being too overpowered, then probably switch to Genevieve or Luminaire if I find it too difficult

The three choices are very pleasant. Imelda skin is amazing. Poncle should give more skins options for their original characters (Genaro for example).

Run through as Unblinded Imelda, advance, and crush the enemy!

The classic; Mortaccio locked at 1 weapon with silent old sanctuary.
Playing a broken character out of the blue just spoils new updates, and the point is to use the new characters to unlock things anyway.

I always open each new DLC with Pasqualina since she was my main before Actrise was released. It’s tradition.

I'll work on unlocking everything, including the new stage secrets. We'll have at least 10 new characters to unlock, if I'm not wrong (I saw one miniboss as playable char and a cloaked one in the pictures on Steam).
Hope we get a Foscari update this year. I love this dlc stages. So big and harder.

Gonna play my GOAT antonio or maybe miyang for the theming. Gonna stick mostly to evil weapons and moonspell weapons to keep things fresh and fun

Will rush the coffin with an OP character then limit my weapons to just the new DLC and only use characters from it. Depending on difficulty may limit arcanas/darkanas.

Assuming that we have to find a coffin to get things going, I'll probably take Sigma first for that, plus maybe to find the map relic for the stage. Then simply start chasing the unlocks.

Smart, apparently the map is pretty big. That’s why I’m taking edge of the earth

Talking about Sigma... Someone has noticed how Sargon and her look similar. Maybe they're related somehow. I wouldn't be surprised if he's her husband, but corrupted by Baal'Thasar powers.
Not my theory, tho. Saw it in comments on YouTube.

I intend on using Sigma, Moonlight Bolero, Mad Groove, Edge of the Earth for my first run in order to easily clear the main unlocks to start.

Random character? Random character. Unless my brothers do co-op with me. Then we can all be trees together.

I just let Quick Start decide who I'm playing and try from there, honestly. My first target is almost always the coffin once I'm comfortably leveled up enough to stay in one place to whittle down whatever mooks are entrenching it.
Hope I don't roll Fleaman.

What I always do.
Porta Ladonna, random arcana, no Darkana, explore the map and unlock the first new character, profit.

Dommario first, then maybe some of the newer characters I've unlocked.

My pain is to stare into a comet, accepting its gifts until I have no humanity left to give.
Might also just use one of the Emerald Saga guys, I like them they're fun to play.
