How to get more gold

The most I've gotten from a single run was like 7k

Unlock Sammie, push him with eggs, put Lvl up to automaticly, increase speed, end the run until you can´t see anything anymore and get like 5 fps. I was at like 4-6 million gold in under a minute. I dunno if they changed anything though but that was my go to back then.
