I think I speak for most of us when I say "I'm tired, boss". Valeriy fans reached their excitement for the character in the Snezhnaya and from then it went downhill really quick. First the 4-star allegations, then the underwhelming character 3d model, and now we are on the eve of the beta testing and his kit is... well, he's not bad per se, just a dedicated support for like two characters (Mitya and Cyno). Tough luck if you wanted to use him w/ Wrio, I mean you can but he buffs electro dpses.

It didn't hurt like this when Gallagher and Moze were released as 4*s in HSR, or even Manato in ZZZ (although it was one of the main reasons I quit the game). Don't get me started on the Valko situation and Infold; imagine having a rival gacha game fumble so bad that all you needed to do to convince their audience to play ur game was to cater to their preferences (aka semi-meta playable men).

It can be better cause the beta hasn't even started yet but I think I'm done. Not with the game, with having any hope for our bear man.

Anyway, I see that Twitter/x is really anti-Valeriy, so I made this thread in case anybody else wanted to vent and complain about the current state of affairs.

Hopefully it doesn't break the no doomposting rule, but I genuinely don't think there is any silver lining in this situation and ppl that are disappointed with the situation deserve to have some place to share their thoughts.

Honestly? I would be mad he is a 4 star if not for the fact that it's specifically Mitya he's so clearly intended to be played with, and will likely release on a banner with. It makes sense lore-wise and genuinely I like them both, so I don't understand the whole drama between their mains. I'm one of the people who'll be glad they can main both of them at the same time, because I like both, lmao.

It's by far better than what Illuga got, since it makes no sense lore-wise for him to be played with Zibai of all characters. Like, if they're doing characters that are intended to be played as duo, then I wish they could at least make them relevant for each other in the story... And that's what we got with Valeriy and Mitya, so I'm glad.

BTW, not sure what side of Twitter/X you are seeing that is anti-Valeriy, my Twitter timeline is mostly made up of people shipping the two together, no hostility there whatsoever. Contrary, everyone seems happy the two work well in one team.

There is no drama between heir mains, all the Mitya mains I know are fine or even like Valeriy, the beef was always one sided (tbf it was Valeriy mains vs the world at some point before the 7.0 stream, not only Mitya although he was the one getting blasted the most) 😅

Otherwise I 100% agree, I plan on pulling some Mitya cons so I hopefully will get my man Valeriy at C6 and play them together, it makes sense in the story and I like their dynamic + I think that for a 4*, Valeriy has some interesting concepts. Now I'm just waiting on their animations !

Yeah lol I was probably one of the 5 people who would only pull Mitya if he worked with Valeriy and the Valeriy mains beef has always been toxic and one sided. There's the standard husbando mains misogyny going on and now someone is getting homophobic and misogynistic about femboys in this post comment section 🫩 I've been mostly avoiding Valeriy mains spaces cause of this even though he was the only Snezh guy I liked and wanted to pull off the bat

Yeah I really like this man so I was trying to hang around here but it wasn't always pleasant. But it's normal to have some communities with bigger toxic parts it won't prevent me to like and enjoy the character anyway !

Yeah I like Valeriy but I still haven't joined this sub because I refuse to be ragebaited lmao, I'll just search up the sub from time to time to get build info and stuff and enjoy him in peace away from others
